Comparative study of the way of creating architectural spaces in the paintings of baths

Literary works have created the right fields for painting and drawing the architecture of the bath in the works of painting. These paintings have a lot to do with the real world. By matching the characteristics of such works with the architecture of the baths, it can be concluded that in these paintings bathrooms are displayed with many architectural features, and this shows a kind of realism in the paintings of the bathroom. The purpose of this research is to study the comparative study of the architecture of the baths and the works of the bathroom painting in order to determine the extent to which these works are close to reality and are plotted with realism. Following this goal, using the historical interpretation method, the study of the works of bath paintings and its adaptation to the architecture of the baths has been studied. In total, 23 paintings have been reviewed and their characteristics are compared with the architecture of the baths. The research findings show that many of the characteristics of the bathroom from architectural spaces to installations, structures and lighting are shown in various ways in these works. Also, principles such as dimensions, size, geometric shape and proportions of spaces are evident.

The bathroom is one of the most valuable architectural buildings that have survived from the past. It has been of great importance among other urban spaces such as bazaar, mosque and school, and one of the most important urban buildings after the mosque and school.
The significance of this building in the city has been such that it sometimes becomes more important than other urban spaces. For example, in one of the maps of Tehran, which dates back to 1370, the number of baths is two hundred Babas, while the number of mosques is 120 Bab, which indicates the importance of baths in the architecture and urban spaces of Iran. In addition, baths were of great importance in Islamic societies and were regarded by Muslims as a religious foundation for serving others and earning rewards.
Today, many of these buildings have been destroyed, and the architecture of the baths can be found in a few works, which are mostly in the Safavid period. On the other hand

Many thinkers have considered painting as a world of imagination, and some have spoken of realism in some pictures of painting. About the creation of architectural spaces, by analyzing the works of painting on a particular topic, one can discover the aspects of space that the photographer portrays with a realistic approach.
This paper, by means of historical interpretation, examines 23 paintings and compares them with the architecture of bathrooms and seeks to answer the following questions:
1 Do different bath characteristics such as geometry and user and hierarchy can be searched in the artwork?
2 How can spatial shapes and geometry in these paintings be realistic and appropriate to the architectural design of bathrooms?

So far, many studies have been done on painting and creating architectural spaces. In none of these works, the specialized study of the theme of the bathroom painting has not been studied and all the documents in this field have not been compared and compared.
